Age Is Just a Number: Fitness After 60
If I had a dime for every time someone shared that they "missed their window" to get fit, I’d be rocking a new Birkin bag every day of the week. But here’s the truth: there is no expiration date on becoming strong, vibrant, or confident.
In fact, being in your 50s, 60s, or beyond is the perfect time to commit to yourself. Why? Because you finally understand that real health isn’t about aesthetics. It’s about vitality, energy, and showing up fully for your life. And most importantly—it’s about how you feel in your skin.
I began competing professionally after 60. I lifted weights for the first time when most people my age were winding down. Instead of slowing down, I was just getting started—and I’ve never felt more alive.
Strength doesn’t fade with age—neglect does. Your body craves movement, purpose, and nourishment. If you give it those things, it will reward you in ways that defy the calendar.
