Welcome to my corner of the internet. I'm Evelyn Flaharty, and this page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects, why, and the choices you have. By using evelynflaharty.com, you agree to the practices described here.

Information I collect

Information you give me

  • When you place an order: your name, email address, shipping address, and order details, so I can fulfill and support your purchase.
  • When you buy a digital product: your name and email address, so your download can be delivered to you.
  • When you subscribe to my emails or contact me: your name and email address, and the contents of your message.

Payment card details are processed securely by my payment providers (through Squarespace Commerce and Stripe). Your card number never touches this website and is never stored by me.

Information collected automatically When you visit, this site (hosted by Squarespace) automatically collects standard technical information — your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and time spent — through cookies and similar technologies, including Squarespace Analytics. This helps me understand what content you love so I can make more of it.

Text messaging (SMS)

When you opt in to receive texts from me — for example by texting a keyword, signing up through a link, or providing your phone number at checkout — I collect your mobile phone number so I can send you the messages you asked for: wellness tips, new content, product updates, and offers.

  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier plan.
  • Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
  • Your consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Your mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and will not be sold or rented to anyone. Phone numbers are shared only with the messaging service providers who deliver the texts on my behalf, as needed to operate the program.

How I use your information

  • To fulfill and deliver your orders, including sharing your name and shipping address with my print-on-demand fulfillment partner, Printful, which prints and ships physical products.
  • To deliver digital products and order updates by email.
  • To send you wellness content and offers you have opted in to receive. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click, and I will never email you marketing messages without your permission.
  • To respond to your questions and messages.
  • To improve this website and understand how visitors use it.

How your information is shared

I do not sell your personal information. Ever. It is shared only with the service providers who make this site and store run:

  • Squarespace — website hosting, store, and analytics
  • Printful — printing and shipping of physical products (receives your name and shipping address only)
  • Payment processors (including Stripe) — secure payment processing
  • Email and social platforms — only as needed to deliver what you signed up for

Some links on this site are affiliate links (for example, through ShopMy). If you click one and make a purchase, the retailer may use cookies to credit me with a commission, at no extra cost to you. Those retailers' own privacy policies govern what they collect.

I may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect my rights and the safety of others.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for core functionality (like your shopping cart), analytics, and remembering your preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work as smoothly without them. Where required, a cookie notice appears when you visit.

Your rights

You may ask me at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, and to stop receiving marketing emails (unsubscribe links are in every email). Residents of certain states, including Connecticut and California, have additional rights under their state privacy laws, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information — again, I do not sell personal information. Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. I do not knowingly collect information from children.

Data retention and security

I keep order and account information only as long as needed for the purposes above and for legal and tax record-keeping. This site uses industry-standard security through its hosting and payment providers, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
