Simple Spring Reset: Start. Stop. Modify.

There’s something refreshing about taking a step back and simplifying things. Not starting over. Not overhauling your life. Just gently recalibrating. Lately, I’ve been thinking less about adding more and more about refining what’s already there. What’s working, what isn’t, and what simply needs a small adjustment.

Sometimes the most powerful shifts come from three simple questions: What do I want to start? What no longer feels aligned? And what just needs to be done a little differently?

What I’m Starting

I’m leaning more into the things that make me feel supported. Simple habits that I know make a difference when I stay consistent. Walking more, especially outside. Prioritizing protein and hydration without overthinking it. Taking a few minutes at night to unwind instead of pushing through the day until I’m exhausted. Nothing dramatic. Just steady, supportive choices that make my body feel good.

What I’m Letting Go Of

I’m letting go of the idea that everything has to be perfect to count.

The all-or-nothing mindset. The pressure to do everything at once. The feeling that if a workout isn’t intense, it doesn’t matter. It does. Small, consistent actions will always carry more weight than occasional extremes. And letting go of that pressure makes it so much easier to stay consistent.

What I’m Modifying

Not everything needs to be eliminated. Sometimes it just needs to be softened. Workouts that used to feel rigid now feel more intuitive. I still train with intention, but I listen more. Some days that means lifting heavier. Other days it means moving gently or simply going for a walk.

The same goes for nutrition. Less structure, more awareness. Choosing foods that support me without turning it into something complicated. There’s a calm confidence that comes from knowing you don’t need to do everything differently. You just need to stay connected to yourself and make small, thoughtful shifts.

That’s where real change happens.
